A little hardcore. A little punk. And a whole lot of passion. We Might Die is a new dynamic band that blurs the lines of alternative rock genres. Liv’s angsty and blues infused vocals juxtapose Chance’s hard hitting drums. While Travis brings an East Coast hardcore flair with epic shredding proportions to round out Liv’s funky and soulful bass lines. Heartfelt and angry lyrics compliment WMD’s overall approach to self expression by providing a narrative of anxious thoughts and tough situations anyone can relate to.

Not only is We Might Die’s sound fresh and unique, their diverse members from all walks of life are equally unique. Chance (drums) has been in countless Grind, Metal, and Punk bands for the last 20 years. He is a multi-instrumentalist who primarily plays guitar and just happens to be a sick drummer. His roots originate in the New Mexican and Texas hardcore scene and he has made many eardrums bleed all along the southwest. He also helped support the local music scene by recording demos and albums that helped launch other musician’s careers.

Liv (Bass) is the youngest member and is in middle school. She also happens to be Chance’s daughter. She grew up surrounded by art and music and was bound to follow in her parents footsteps. Even though she is only 13, she is a killer musician who adds a spunky and angsty twist to WMD’s total sound and vibe. Don’t let her age fool you, she can deliver a punch with her mature and powerful point-of-view and voice.

Travis (guitar) grew up in New Hampshire and was very active in the music scene, going to shows as often as possible. Like Chance, Travis is a multi-instrumentalist and can play anything. Literally anything, from clarinet to drums. He also has a special gift of playing anything by ear and adds a spooky flair to anything he writes.  Chance and Travis met at the Green Valley School of Rock Adult Band and have played several seasons together. When Chance was looking for a guitar player, Travis was a no brainer to add to this stacked lineup of stupidly talented musicians.

As Liv would say, “We Might Die, but we’re still awesome.”
