VMS:
When did you start writing and performing your music.
What’s your backstory and current lineup.
We Might Die:
Liv- I started performing music when I was 9 at School of Rock however I didn’t start writing my own music till I was in this band.
Travis- I didn’t start performing anything I wrote until this band. I started playing guitar very seriously about 5 or 6 years ago. I started taking lessons for everything I could about 2 years ago. Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards and vocals. I got to know Chance through School of Rock where I was taking lessons and he contacted me about a project he was working on. Black Heart Emoji. We all kind of clicked during the first few practices. Then the original project didn’t work out and we decided to start a new project with Chance, Olivia and me. We’ve been working together for about a year now on this band.
Chance – I started writing my own music when I was 14. Started playing shows with my first serious band when I was 15. I’ve been either playing drums or guitar for bands ever since.

VMS Thoughts:
What I love about We Might Die, and what I have always loved about them is how not only are they absolutely killer musicians, who have an insane chemistry together, but I love that their music is raw, honest, and not afraid to talk about some incredibly hard and personal topics such as lost love, betrayal, fake mother fuckers, overcoming obstacles and keeping the music scene toxic free, which honestly those are incredibly real issues. I love Vegas, but there are definitely some toxic mother fuckers here in this city lol.
With Lead Singer Liv’s intense vocals and sick bass playing, Chance’s commanding drums that have a mind of their own, and Travis’s Guitar that brings an amazing raw, gritty energy to the mix, I am always constantly impressed with each new release how harder, faster, and louder they get every time. They are not afraid to push themselves musically and are always constantly evolving as a band, which I think is amazing. Shit, I remember seeing them for the first time a couple of years back and already being impressed at the time by their incredibly strong musicianship and songs.
“This WHO ARE WE interview starts off with a bold statement and 14 year old Liv’s music, lyrics, and vibe back it up! She is the Bassist/Singer for WE MIGHT DIE @wemightdie.theband hailing from Las Vegas. Liv and her bandmates Chance (who is also her dad!) and Travis have put together some very solid tracks available where you stream music! A little punk, a little hardcore, a lot of attitude and great lyrics that will get stuck in your head. A must listen. Check them out, give them a follow and watch out for their debut album coming in August! ”

Song: “Bloom (I Still Hate You) “
Release Date: January 3rd, 2025
We Might Die just keep getting stronger with each song they release and it’s incredibly fascinating to watch. I know they are a fairly new band, so watching them find their vibe and sound in real time, is amazing watch. I loved their first single B.I.T.B and I feel between “Bloom (I Still Hate You)” and “Get Out Of My Scene” these are both wonderful steps in the right direction.
It was hard to choose which song to do a review on, but I went with Bloom cause I love it’s brutal honesty, about trying to get rid of what seems like someone toxic in their life, which is incredibly hard to do. Plus, it’s just so ridiculously catchy as a song, I just wanted to keep playing it on repeat.
With their strong musicianship, very solid pop / punk songs, and always a commanding vocal presence, We Might Die are definitely ones to watch out for. I can’t wait to see the next musical journey they will take us on next.
